- International Novelty Searches covering major industrialized countries $650 and up.
Unless a long-term relationship has been established with a client, searches must be guaranteed by advance deposit through VISA, Mastercard or cheque. Delivery and GST charges are added to the price of all searches. Most novelty searches will be turned around in one week, unless rush charges are paid.
Patentability searches provide a general overview of the art for a particular invention. These searches are adequate for providing patentability opinions and submitting invention disclosure statements when filing patent applications. A patentability search focuses on the specific embodiments of an invention thought to be patentable, with the intention of discovering if other patents claim or disclose such novel elements.
